NZQA sets fees each year; as a guide, 2011 fees were:
NCEA Levels 1, 2 & 3: $76.70 (International Students $383.30).
Scholarship: for more than 3 subjects $76.70 per additional subject (International Students $102.20 per scholarship).
There is considerable financial assistance for parents/caregivers who:
Receive a Work and Income benefit ($20 individual; $30 family).
Have a Community Services Card ($20 individual; $30 family).
Have more than 2 children undertaking NCEA qualifications in the same year (maximum fee of $200).
